The author deployed intelligence gathering, strategic local and external security maneuvers, as well as international media engagements and diplomatic shuttles to the termination of the former Biafran leader's exile. Readers will find the politics and dramatis personae of Ojukwu's pardon quite intriguing. They put a lie to the notion that tribe was always the bane of Nigerian politics. Patriots from across the divides made General Ojukwu's return not only possible but also a national celebration.
